Robin Watts, LPC-LMSP

Robin Watts received her Master’s in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.  She completed her internship and practicum working in a private practice that allowed her to work with individuals that were experiencing personality disorders.  Being married to a military man, they were re-located to Northeast America where she worked as a Facilitator for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) utilizing career development and coaching skills.  Another relocation, during Covid-19, brought her family to Tennessee where she continued to work with local churches assisting with their Mental Health needs.  Missing working with more severely mentally ill clients, she sought work in the prison as a mental health therapist.  Finding this work to be rewarding but not what she hoped for, she has joined Smoky Mountain Lodge with the hopes of bringing her experiences and skills to better those she encounters.  Robin believes in healing the mind, body and soul as a whole approach. She is trained in EMDR, DBT and CBT and enjoys learning and training further to advance her skills.
