Catherine Anglea, LPC-LMSP

Catie received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is a National Certified Counselor currently pursuing clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP) under supervision. Catie is an empathic, compassionate, LGBTQ+ affirming counselor who demonstrates a passion for supporting the success of individuals using an embodied, trauma-informed, humanistic lens. She believes clients are the experts of their lives and prioritizes building a trusting therapeutic relationship to help clients build self-awareness and self-understanding to facilitate growth and change. Catie has experience working with a diverse population of traditional and nontraditional students, both in person and online. She has additional experience establishing rapport and building trust with adolescents and adults from a variety of backgrounds, including individuals exploring identity, processing trauma, navigating interpersonal conflict, and managing life with mental health disorders like anxiety and depression.
