Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

4Health – Centered around the Wellness Wheel, group members will learn the six dimensions: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, career, and spiritual impact recovery, and how to make choices to improve quality of life.

9-1-1Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills to help cope with intense emotional pain and survive during times of crisis without making the situation worse.

Act It Out – Our Narradrama group is the combination of narrative therapy and the creative arts to form action that encourages agency, awareness, and alternative stories.

Animal Assisted Therapy – Our therapy dog, Lucky, has her own group in addition to providing extra comfort and attention to clients throughout the day. She actively participates in the experiential group to reinforce skills learned in treatment.

Choices – Helps resolve ambivalence regarding taking action or changing unhelpful behaviors. Based on the person-centered, Motivation Interviewing style of counseling.

Connections – DBT skills focused on improving relationships at home, work and/or school

Emotions 101 – DBT skills for managing emotion and reducing overall emotional suffering.

Expressive Arts – Uses creative exploration and expression to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, develop social skills, and improve reality orientation.

Get Happy – Gain self-knowledge, therefore the power, to change problematic thinking and behavior using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Positive Psychology principles to improve one’s mood.

Gottman Group – Utilizes the relationship principles found in the Gottman Method to enhance interpersonal communication, diffuse conflict and heighten sense of empathy and understanding.

I Heart Me – Understand the importance of self-compassion in healing and learn practical application in our daily lives using the research and teachings of Drs. Kristin Neff, Brené Brown and Steven Hayes to.

Life Worth Living – Helps individuals experience unpleasant feelings without avoidance while taking action that moves towards what matters for the individual based on their values and priorities in life. Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Mindfulness – DBT skills for improving the awareness of the here and now increasing one’s power to change.

Ready Set Goal – Our community group kicks off the day by welcoming new group members, peer-to-peer support, sharing goal commitment and mindfulness.

Seeking Safety – Understand and replace unwanted behaviors with more effective coping skills to thrive despite the impact of trauma

Somatic Psychotherapy – The skills learned in this group empower clients with the ability to immediately desensitize acute stress. Based on Acute Traumatic Incident Processing (A-TIP) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

Therapeutic Yoga – Uses yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery to encourage the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
