Yolanda has worked with individuals and families with mental illnesses that ranged from mild, moderate to severe and persistent cases. Her experience in the private sector, community mental health, residential treatment, and hospital settings has also allowed her to work with children and adults with Autism, developmental, and intellectual disabilities. She has served numerous roles including a social worker, case manager, ACT advocate, Psychotherapist, Group Facilitator, Aftercare Liaison, and an Emergency Room Behavioral Intake Social Worker. Yolanda’s depth of experience has allowed her to conduct biopsychosocial assessments and identify the criteria for inpatient, partial hospitalization programs, substance abuse treatment, and outpatient treatment, based on an individual’s level of care needs and continuity of care. Yolando earned her Master of Social Work from Wayne State University and her Bachelor of Social Work from Marygrove College.
