Stacy Blankenship is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting people on the road to becoming their best selves. Her passion to empower others is enhanced by ten years of experience working with individuals and groups in a variety of therapeutic settings. Stacy is an intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapist completing her training by The Linehan Institute in 2015. Stacy is adept at matching various forms of clinical interventions to best meet the needs of each individual.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Peace College with a double major in Psychology and Art and Design, Stacy earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work at North Carolina State University. She has used these diverse fields of study to supplement her clinical approach in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Illness Management Recovery, Seeking Safety, Wellness Recovery Action Planning and Anger Management techniques. Stacy has thorough knowledge of crisis management skills and is currently working towards certification in Critical Incident Stress Management. Her unique and authentic style, as well as caring demeanor, inspires those she works with to reach a sense of peace and wholeness in their lives, within themselves and in their relationships with others.
In addition to her professional work, Stacy shares her skills and knowledge within her local community. Stacy often speaks at her Alma Maters on topics such as clinical interventions and cultural appropriation for people in therapeutic settings. Stacy is an advocate with the local chapter of the National Alliance Mentally Ill (NAMI) and serves as a Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Professional.
