Patrick is dedicated to helping individuals recognize and optimize themselves to their full potential through self-empowerment.
He received his Master’s in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Patrick’s experience as a Trauma Fellow with the SIUC School of Medicine helped him develop a variety of trauma informed approaches. He also was the clinical director at Brehm Preparatory School where he worked with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, complex learning disabilities, ADHD, social/emotional challenges, and other related learning difficulties. In addition, he worked as a therapist for The Stress and Trauma Treatment Center helping individuals with a variety of behavioral and mental health needs.
When addressing client’s needs Patrick believes in using a holistic approach and following best practice therapies in order to attain positive outcomes for clients. His client-centered, solution focused approach emphasizes the use of cognitive behavioral therapy. Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, boating, and exploring the Great Smoky Mountains.
