Lindsay is a Family Systems trained therapist with four years of experience in providing individuals, couples, group, and family therapy in clinical settings. Lindsay received her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Studies with a specialization in Family Science from Louisiana Tech University.
Prior to her work at Pasadena Villa, Lindsay worked as a program therapist at Carolina House Eating Disorder Treatment Center. She provided individual, group, and family psychotherapy services to individuals diagnosed with eating disorders and, often, co-occurring disorders. While working at Carolina House, Lindsay created a curriculum to provide psychoeducation around PTSD and how to find resources for support. Lindsay has also worked in private practice doing individual, couple, and family sessions for those dealing with various issues.
Lindsay’s passion is meeting her clients where they are and being genuine in her approach. She aims to treat the person, not solely the diagnosis. When working together, you can expect to be met with a warm, nonjudgmental, and empathetic approach to therapy with an acceptance for where you are in this moment. She wants to help you find your voice, be confident in your ability to handle whatever life throws at you, feel heard, and accepted for who you are. We all deserve to understand ourselves.
