Lauren has experience with a wide variety of presenting issues including anxiety, mood disorders, thought disorders, personality disorders, impulse control disorders, OCD, grief and loss, identity issues, substance abuse, sexual issues, trauma, and phase of life problems. She is holistic in her approach focusing on all areas of the person. Lauren is an integrative and insight driven therapist with her primary therapeutic styles being Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems work. She also likes to include mindfulness techniques on an individualized basis. Lauren graduated with her master’s degree in counseling from Johnson University. In her downtime, she enjoys yoga, hiking in the mountains, and learning to play the hammered dulcimer.
