As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, Jessica is trained in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), moral recognition therapy and motivational interviewing. Her experience as a Senior Youth Counselor at Frances Walker Halfway House afforded her the opportunity to provide individual, family, group, and crisis counseling for teenage girls in the Juvenile Justice system with various issues such as substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, trauma, grief, anger management and mood instability. Jessica also has experience at the University of Central Florida Community Counseling Clinic providing individual, family and group counseling. She earned her Master of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida, where she studied Counselor Education and Mental Health Counseling and earned a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jessica is also a proud member of the American Counselors Association.
