Psychotherapist
Jenna Kelley Haque is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in North Carolina and graduated with Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lee University, AAMFT accredited program. For undergrad, Jenna majored in Marketing with emphasis on corporate sales. She worked in men’s custom clothing, digital media sales, and online marketing for eight years.
Jenna uses a psychoanalytic attachment family systemic approach to therapy as no man is an island. Our experiences are multi-causal and multi-maintained seen through a lens of beliefs, relationships with others, societal expectations, traumas, and world events. All humans have the fundamental need to be loved, be seen, and to be heard. Our beliefs, feelings, behavioral patterns, and relational dynamics are driven by these needs before we could articulate. We learned about our world through our first relationships and these subconscious attachments. We work to make the subconscious conscious, identify how your attachment reinforces your choices, and unworked through feelings. Trauma focused does not mean you have to have an identified traumatic experience; rather, you experienced an event that was too complex for you to process at that time. Creating awareness will lead to creating change. Jenna has six years of experience working with multiple populations that includes trauma, depression, anxiety, self-actualization, relationships, infidelity, family systems, personality disorders, LGBTQIA+ with groups, individuals, couples, and families.
