Erin Finholdt

Erin joined the team at Smoky Mountain Lodge in 2018, after she and her family relocated from Minnesota to Tennessee. Erin started as a Psychiatric Technician at the Lodge and is now the Milieu Supervisor at the Autism Stables Program. Prior to working in the behavioral health field, Erin dedicated many years working at a large family-owned business, where she held a management position. She has been in the behavioral health field for over 12 years. Erin spent five years with Mayo Clinic Health Systems, holding a leadership role at MCHS residential treatment center. She has provided services as a Community and School Based Mental Health Practitioner. Erin also had the honor of being a part of a pilot program launched to provide services for a Special Education Cooperative. She collaborated with a team of clinicians, school districts and teachers to create a system that incorporated mental and behavioral health services on a qualifying students IEP. The services proved to increase personal and academic success for students, as the organization now serves over seven districts in Southern Minnesota. Erin has specialized training in ASD, substance use disorder, borderline personality disorder, behavioral interventions and LGBTQ, providing a range of services to school aged individuals through adult. Her experience and knowledge working with a diverse population has contributed greatly to the success of the Stables Program and the clients they serve. Erin is passionate about a team approach and creating an optimal environment for providing quality, individualized care.
