Dr. Miller has served in numerous clinical settings including clinical, family care, and consultation. In addition to working directly with clients, he is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Miller is board certified and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Humanities from Milligan College in Tennessee, and his MD from the University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He has served as a collaborative lab technician for The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and Oak Ridge National Laboratory on projects using transgenic mice to research such diseases as obesity, diabetes mellitus, and polycystic kidney disease. Dr. Miller also serves as a volunteer speaker for various support groups, cancer survivor groups, and 12 step organizations.
