As a Program Director, Debbie and her clinical teams are committed to helping individuals with psychiatric disorders regain their lives. She has extensive experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), family therapy, personality disorders, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, illness management and recovery, strengths-based approaches to treatment and integrated dual diagnosis treatment. One of Debbie’s greatest strengths is her ability to run passionate, dedicated, inspired, and effective “can-do” clinical teams. Debbie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, and a master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. Her early experience included working with children and adolescents with severe mental illness on an inpatient unit. Following this role, she began providing counseling services to adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
