Charniqua Snell, MS

Charniqua completed her bachelor’s degree in music therapy and furthered her education by completing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rollins College.
She is currently pursuing her licensure for LMCH. She has experience working in hospice, schools, and inpatient hospitals before working for Pasadena Villa’s residential program. Charniqua’s practices humanistic and multi-cultural ways of counseling with her clients. She has experience using CBT, DBT, and ACT in her groups and individual counseling sessions. She aims to continue developing these skills as well as training more in trauma-informed care and somatic therapies to provide a more holistic approach. In her spare time, Charniqua loves cooking and eating good food with the people she loves, playing music, and reading fiction books.
