Brittaney has worked with children and adults suffering from Serious Persistent Mental Illnesses, behavioral concerns, anxiety and depressive disorders and substance use disorders. Brittaney has history of working in residential facilities, outpatient, and crisis settings. Her therapeutic approaches are a combination of evidence based practices including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Reality Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Person Centered approaches. Brittaney has history of working with groups, individual and family capacities. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her Master of Arts in Counseling- concentration being Couples and Family Counseling. Brittaney is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), as well as has her Mandatory Prescreening Agent (MPA) training in the state of Tennessee.
