Mental and substance use disorders continue to impact American communities. According to SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), an estimated 43.6 million Americans experienced some form of mental illness in the past year, 20.2 million suffered from a substance use disorder, and 7.9 million had a dual diagnosis of both disorders. With staggering numbers, the need for an extensive network of treatment professionals is vital to proper treatment and recovery.
As professionals in the field, we come into contact every day with individuals who are suffering, their families and caring professionals that are supporting them. An essential element of the work we do within the Pasadena Villa Network is develop and maintain clinical partnerships throughout the continuum of services and around the country. These clinical alliances are vital to helping those that are struggling to find the proper fit of services for the unique needs associated with mental health and substance use disorders. Growing these unique clinical partnerships with other treatment facilities, private practice professionals, interventionists, and educational consultants helps us construct sound and effective aftercare plans for our residents as they continue their path of healing when they return home. illa was honored to recently host eight of the industry’s top educational consultants at The Villa Orlando. Consultants from Aldrich Educational & Therapeutic Consulting, Tree Andrew Consulting, School Placements, Powell & Elliot Collaborative, Harris Kramer Educational & Therapeutic Consulting, and Educational Connections enjoyed meeting the Pasadena Villa team and learning more about our therapeutic program. The group also learned more the Pasadena Villa admission process, referral source communication, and the collaboration that occurs during the treatment process.

We are proud of the programs we offer throughout the Pasadena Villa Network. Our customized treatment plan begins with a comprehensive assessment that includes prior care managers, doctors, therapist and family members. Combining a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities with the Pasadena Villa’s Social Integration Model TM, allows residents to engage in recreational, social consistently, and life strategy activities. These activities provide for interaction and observation by the clinical team as residents develop life skills, health and nutritional insight, and social competencies for assimilating back into their life outside of treatment.
We believe we have a responsibility to do whatever possible to prepare our residents for life after treatment. Working with broad range of clinical partners, allows us to provide services that promote health, recovery and personal motivation to our residents.
