2020 Clinical Outcomes and Key Findings
About Pasadena Villa
As part of the Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare Psychiatric Network, Pasadena Villa has over 25 years of expertise in treating mental health conditions for all genders ages 18 and older, along with a specialty program for autistic clients. Pasadena Villa doesn’t just focus on the presenting condition, but rather on the underlying disorders by utilizing a comprehensive whole-person approach that serves as the foundation for true client-centered care.
Our program is firmly rooted in evidence-based treatment methods with treatment plans specific to each client’s needs. In tandem with our Social Integration Model™, which enables clients to put skills learned into practice with the support of their therapist, our clinical team uses multiple therapeutic modalities.
About Our Assessment Approach
At Pasadena Villa we use BASIS-24, a leading behavioral assessment tool, to evaluate the results our clients experience post-treatment against similar treatment facilities across the nation. This measurement tool identifies a wide range of symptoms and problems that occur across the diagnostic spectrum using a 5-point Likert scale. The 24 questions are scored using a weighted average algorithm that gives an overall score and scores for six subscales for the following domains of psychiatric and substance abuse symptoms and functioning: depression and functioning, relationships, self-harm, emotional lability, psychosis, and substance abuse.
Throughout 2020, 512 clients participated in programming at Pasadena Villa with 251 completing the BASIS-24 assessment. The questionnaire was administered at admission, mid-treatment every 30 days, and again at discharge.
