Jeanne Hastings, MS, CTRS – Recreational Therapist

 

Jeanne has over 20 years of experience in the therapeutic recreation field relating mental health and dual diagnosed.  She has worked in inpatient medical surgical units, inpatient behavioral units, inpatient Rehab and has experience in Continuing Day Treatment settings working with Mental Health adults and seniors. Jeanne also worked as a professional golfer for 4 years and competed on the Woman’s Professional Futures Golf Tour and also played one year woman’s semi professional basketball for the Rochester Zeniths.

She received a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Recreation and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation at SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY.  In addition she received a Master’s of Science in Recreation, Sports and Leisure Studies with a Concentration in Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.

Jeanne is a member of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) and Southeast Therapeutic Recreation Symposium (STRS).
