George Kachmarik, VI, LMHC – President and Clinical Director

Mr. Kachmarik received his B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his M.S. in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Health Care Administration from Memphis State University. Mr. Kachmarik is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL), APA Board Certified Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor.

Mr. Kachmarik first entered the behavioral healthcare field in 1979 as a Neuropsychological Examiner. Since those early experiences, he has held a wide variety of positions across a vast scope of programs, including outpatient clinics, private practice, and private psychiatric hospitals. His positions have included counselor, therapist, program director and clinical director.

Aside from experience in outpatient, inpatient and residential treatment, Mr. Kachmarik was also on faculty at Olympic College (WA), and adjunct faculty at Florida Junior College (FL).

Mr. Kachmarik is a Retired Captain, United States Navy, and his clinical experiences in the U.S. Navy include Director, Counseling and Assistance Center; Officer in Charge, Navy Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program, and Counseling and Assistance Center;  and Director of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs for the Brigade of Midshipmen, U.S. Naval Academy.  He was also a Lecturer and Instructor for non-clinical courses at the U.S. Naval Academy.
