FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Jennifer Stokes receives specialty Certification from NCTRC
JENNIFER STOKES RECEIVES SPECIALTY CERTIFICATION FROM NCTRC (Orlando, Fla., April 21, 2011) – Pasadena Villa is pleased to announce administrator Jennifer Stokes has achieved a specialty certification in behavioral health from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC). She is one of 15 candidates nationally to receive this advanced level of certification. Previously, Stokes had earned the organization’s Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) designation in 1993.
Stokes earned her B.S.Ed. in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Georgia. Currently, she is the administrator of Pasadena Villa Orlando. She oversees the coordination, supervision, implementation, and execution of all services. Stokes also manages human resources, staff development, resource allocation, intake, service line integration, and administrative functions.
Stokes holds additional certifications in crisis intervention and as a Ropes Course facilitator.
