Pasadena Villa adds Community Residential Homes

December 1, 2008

ORLANDO, December, 2008 – Pasadena Villa, a premier adult Residential Treatment Facility licensed by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA), has recently passed licensure surveys and has met all requirements for licensure for two 5-bed community residential homes. Each home is now licensed by AHCA as Level IV residential treatment facilities.

“These two licensed homes will provide community based services and allow our clients to benefit from our unique Social Integration ModelSM while living in very nice residences”, states David Nissen, MBA, FACHE, Managing Director of Pasadena Villa. “The homes will better position us to meet the needs of our clients, who seek socialization and real life experiences while receiving high quality healthcare”, Mr. Nissen added.

George Kachmarik, LMHC, Clinical Director of Pasadena Villa, states, “These beautiful single family urban homes will allow us to provide a new level of care that allows our clients supervised integration into community living. While still receiving care and supervision from our clinical team, our clients will be living a more normalized life, and will learn to address the challenges of everyday life ‘in situ’ rather than in a purely clinical setting”.
